Dr. Indranil Saha’s focus is on providing the best medical care for couples who want to have children. That means personal attention, the latest medical knowledge and ethical practice. After completing his MBBS and MD from Calcutta Medical College he went to the UK. There he gained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and  did CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in obstetrics and gynaecology. He worked at several university hospitals in London, acquiring extensive experience in assisted reproduction and advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgery.

In 2012 he returned to Kolkata and joined the Institute of Reproductive Medicine, Kolkata, working alongside India’s pioneering Reproductive Medicine specialist, Professor B. N. Chakravarty. . He has joined Woodlands Hospital, a leading multispeciality hospital of Kolkata and developed a state of art pre conception and fertility unit. Indranil is a visiting consultant at Genome- The Fertility Centre, a prestigious fertility centre in central Kolkata. He has lent his expertise to develop IVF units in different parts of India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
He has a special interest in fertility preservation in cancer patients, recurrent miscarriage, failed IVF cycle, egg donation and surrogacy. He regularly runs hands-on training workshops on IUI, IVF and transvaginal ultrasound scan in Kolkata and eastern India. He is involved in teaching FNB students (fellowship in superspeciality of ART by National Board, New Delhi) and junior doctors who want to pursue a career in reproductive medicine.  He has also been a key speaker in his field in many national and international platforms and has produced numerous research papers over the years. Dr Saha has worked tirelessly to make fertility management easy and financially accessible for large sections of the local population and out-station couples.
